What happens when the project is complete?
What happens when the project is complete? After your project is complete, our site manager will complete a checklist for quality control. After the completion of the work and clean up comply with our standards your sales representative will schedule a time with you to do a final walkthrough. The purpose of this is to make sure everything on the contract was completed and then the final payment is collected.
Will my job site be cleaned up?
Yes. One must consider for the time being that this is a construction site. We will clean up and remove all debris, leaving the job site as clean as possible.
Will the new mortar match my house?
Our goal is to seamlessly match the motor however it is important to point out that the new motor will never match the old perfectly. This is due to weathering and the elements. Sun and rain have permanently faded what is currently on the home. Also, the availability of the aggregates used will most likely differ, resulting in a slight variation. Any contractors that claim the mortal match perfectly is cause for concern.
What is efflorescence?
Pavers are concrete and porous. Efflorescence is the migration of salt, essentially bringing it to the surface of the pavers. This appears as a white haze. This is a natural process the pavers go through and will disappear over time.
Do you offer a warranty?
Yes. The state of Michigan requires all licensed builders to honor a twelve-month warranty on their projects. We offer an 18-month no questions asked warranty. This is to ensure your project has experienced all 4 seasons of our climate and has demonstrated any possible failure points.
When will my pavers need more polymeric sand?
Polymeric maintenance needs to be done every 3 to 5 years depending on the exposure to the elements. Spot-checking your polymeric sand every spring and fall will help extend the life of your polymeric and overall preserve your installation. Your sales representative will leave you with extra polymeric sand and will demonstrate the installation process.
Why does All Brick request both homeowners?
We follow strict Better Business Bureau guidelines. The BBB has several suggestions for contractors, the 1st being that all homeowners are present for the initial home improvement estimate. Records show this generates fewer complaints when everyone is on the same page and all questions have been answered. This is not required, just something we prefer.
